Kids Camp Daycare cares for infants, toddlers and school age children. We offer pre-school curriculum, well balanced nutritious meals and snacks, indoor & outdoor play, overnight and emergency drop off.

Daycare hours are 6am to 6pm, Monday thru Friday.

About Jess Attenberger

My name is Jess. I am 23 years old and live in Shakopee, MN. I am engaged to Mario who helps me with my daycare. I have one daughter with Mario and four step daughters. I have one dog and two cats and sometimes the dog makes me feel as though I have three cats. Hahaha. I have been a mentor to my daughter and four step daughters since 2007 and they all vary in age ranges which gives me great experience in relating with different mind sets and emotions of children and the capacity to be attentive and helpful to them all. At the age of 13 I became the local part time babysitter for all of my parents friends and their friends. So I guess that was the birth of the passion that led me to start my own daycare. So as I gained more experience with other peoples children and caring for them in the absence of their parents, that when I turned 16 I then gravitated to my first job working in a group home where I was trained to work with children and adults with developmental delays. This passion then led me to continue working at group and nursing homes, home and memory care facilities. I have been a care give for children, adults and the elderly since my early teens. Then in November of 2009 I lost my job as a care giver in the nursing field due to the economy, and I refuse to give up this passion to care for others. So now here I am today ready to transfer all of my experience as a care giver that I may assist you in caring for your child/ren so that you will be comfortable knowing that someone that generally cares for people that cant look after themselves and need to be developed in the capacity of a loving home while their parents are away.

My fiancé Mario is my helper, he has been certified in CPR and First Aid. A portion of his background is that he has cared for four daughters for approx. 17 years and he was also a correctional officer with the Illinois Dept. of Corrections where he dealt heavily with juveniles and probation and had developed a mentorship program at the facility that he worked at for fatherless children and this is just to share with you some of the passion that he has to care for others in need.
